  2. I have a question and this applies to Mother Nature. Yesterday and many other days, there was a blizzard. Would someone please explain to me why there were multiple cars on highways in the snowstorms path? You know there is a blizzard but yet these people get out and drive in it. I am not talking about truckers, we know why they are on the roads.

    Just what is so important that you have to drive in a blizzard?

  3. I'm so okay with that. Just restocked my wine cellar.

    Okie, people have no sense. Back in my college days, I worked at a supermarket. People would get in their cars and drive through the worst of the storm and buy cartfuls of groceries.... because there was a storm coming. If they waited a day, the roads would have been plowed. {slaps head like I need a V-8.}

  4. I see where Racine Wisconsin made the news down here. The girl who gave birth in the toilet. Glad everyone is alright but I really don't buy the story.

    OMG, it's Thursday. I need to buy wine. This working all week and no car is messing me up. I guess I need some wine to go with the whine.

  5. OKIE- I don't know why people would be out with a blizzard I know I would just stay inside and watch it come down. My older daughter that lives in Appleton said it was like a blizzard there and they closed all schools last night. I took my younger daughter back to Whitewater this morning and all I had was rain.

  6. I was just out. Terrible, driving rain. As everyone says, better than snow. My truck windows stayed fogged up even though I had the windshield defroster blasting like crazy. That usually means the vehicle needs a new heater core. The core is cheap, but because it's buried beneath the dashboard, labor is high. I'm thinking like $300. Ha! I have $4.96 to last until next Friday. If I stay in and eat only potatoes, I'll make it, I hope

    My apartment has been cold since last night. I talked to the manager and she said the windows in the apartment below me have been open all day and night. There was a stove fire there and they're trying to get rid of the stink. That was the last fire alarm that occurred on a Sunday and I ignored it. I had no idea it was right below me. The occupant, Billy, a guy I liked, died a week later from a heart attack. I'm so sick of people I know and celebrities I like dying.

  7. OKIE, you mean this: http://journaltimes.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/racine-police-assist-in-tuesday-morning-newborn-rescue/article_54ac9971-043d-55c6-8219-d6fbb9d49f54.html

    I've always wondered how you could not know that you're pregnant. Usually, your period stops, you have morning sickness, and you gain weight.
