Because they are having a big meeting in Tulsa, I am working today. Hubby's truck is in the shop until tomorrow so I'm also car less. Which means I'm stuck here for lunch. There is a nice restaurant next door so no problem there. I don't like eating alone.
OKIE- Sorry to hear about hubby's truck. I hope everything works out for you.
Our plans have changed because of the weather that is going to up north this weekend. So we are going to be staying home for Easter and I am sending the Grandkids their baskets.
THB - It has 312,000 miles on it. The electric windows quit working and then the heat/ac quit working. Oh and the starter went out and the windshield needs replacing. But like he said, we can pay $1300 to fix it or pay around $1,000 a month for a new truck. That's a no brainer.
TOAD - are you sitting in your chair with the dogs around you watching it snow?
OKIE, I have to tell you. First of all, I can't see outside, unless I get up off my ass and look, or to let the dogs out. About 4 p.m. the dogs go out. By that time we had a couple inches of snow on the grass. I have been letting Winnie out without the chain to see what she does. Well she went out, and down the stairs, and just jumped and frolicked all over the area they use, just really enjoying the snow, and not being restrained. She got all done, and just came up the stairs, and In the house just like usual. I must admit, nothing distracted her, kids, other dogs, etc. but It was really special to see. She Is really a special dog, and whomever the people that were going to put her down because she shed, and drooled, made the GREATEST gift of they're lives. Life would not be the same without her, although my Black Lab Ret Is still missed terribly. BTW, MOBE the Golden only comes out of the bedroom at about 3 p.m. because she knows Is almost time to eat, and Mom will be home soon. She's a Mommy's dog, and lay's on the floor next to the bed all night and day. She still seems fat and happy. I have to help her up the stairs a bit, but It's not bad.
nothing can turn a bad day into something wonderful like a puppy!

My truck has 180,000 miles on it. I intend to drive it until I win the lottery or die.
