I could see the Racine Fourthfest fireworks show from my apartment, as well as some show to the south, from the Civic Centre, I believe. I wasn't paying rapt attention to the fireworks because I was busy on the computer. Every now and then, I'd look over at the site and watch the show for awhile. Then back to the computer. They had some beautiful fireworks in deep red. Then they start shooting off more than one at a time and I figure it's the grand finale. There was a cluster of reds, flash bombs, and even some spinners. It was just getting hot when it abruptly stopped. I looked at a clock. 9:45 pm. Exactly one hour, as contracted for.

Sorry, but I was disappointed by the ending. The rest of the show looked good, from what I saw of it. I rate it B- . It'd be an A except for the flaccid ending.

The one we go to started at 9:55 and was over at 10:10. They were good though.

In keeping up with things, for the 4th day in a row I went outside and my glasses steamed up immediately. Parts of the city got rain Sunday, we got nothing. It's steamy and close to 100. Welcome summer.
