Can't buy a fully automatic gun without a license that costs like $1,500. How my favorite Russian got hold of two I don't know. He does mention at the end of the episode that it was expensive to make. They're only supposed to be sold to the military, but there's a handful out there. One company has made a semi-automatic version for the public.
