Strange... Because the Officer was "Off Duty" - or wait now - the story implies he was "On Duty".

Once a public employee - always a public employee - 24 - 7.

So - to public employees - be forewarned - ya better not pout, ya better not shout... And I'm telling ya why - the Big Eye in the Sky - Santa Claus is watching ya.

So I guess he'll be another benefactor of limited liability - and the taxpayers will pay all the costs - and he'll still retire early...
