WATERFORD — Village Administrator Zeke Jackson decried the Town of Waterford government as “a form of Totalitarian Dictatorship” in a memo to the Village Board, delivering his harshest rebuke yet since the village and town’s falling out over fire and emergency medical services.
Jackson made the remark in a staff memo prefacing a letter and survey he proposed sending to village residents that would ask questions about the two municipalities’ intergovernmental relationship. The incendiary memo, letter and survey highlight how severely relations have diminished in the two months since village trustees and town supervisors promised they would work to smooth out disagreements.
