It took 38 years for the Godmother of Punk to make her way back to Milwaukee. Her return fell on the 41st anniversary of her fateful meeting with Fred "Sonic" Smith of the MC5 — and with their son Jackson on guitar, she honored her late husband with touching renditions of three songs she wrote for him. That was on top of a vein-popping re-creation of her classic album "Horses" and an inspiring parting suggestion: "No matter what happens, keep heart, walk tall, be happy."
