My comment to ordmm
Cory Mason and David DeGroot are just like Jim Ladwig and John Dickert - Politically opposed in public - Politically Best Friends in private.
How the Spring elections turn out will depend on if enough Voters get and understand the Foxconn fiasco and the how and why it failed - and it failed even before the last Governors race in which Dr. Tony Evers narrowly defeated Scott Walker. If the fallout is great enough - and it may happen - I see Jonathon Delagrave - David DeGroot, Van Wanggaard, and even Robin Vos being voted out of Office. They are all vulnerable - depending upon the Greater Masses awakenings to how they have been deceived and lied to.
And David DeGroot dances to Cory Masons' tune now - totally dependent for water and sewer. Plus there is plenty of violence, drugs and crime in the 'Burbs to give City of Racine a race for first place. When Foxconn - who is still out in MTP due to the twisting of (now) former CEO Terry Gou's arm by Donald Trump - they will pull out and UGH! Foxconn is now in default of the Scott Walker/Mark Hogan WEDC contract - to include the contractual specifications which defined "The Project" and the signatories to the WEDC contract. Good luck to Nancy Milholland and the Lunatic Fringe TEA - party people to spin the truth about the failed Foxconn "Project".
It is indeed a great time for Sandy to move on - because I believe that Racine - just like (now) MTP and perhaps Racine County are now locked in a race to the bottom due to the massive debt they have committed Residents to. And those debt payments especially benefit Baird Financial Services -
A report to which I provided a link to in another story - reveals how financially troubled City of Racine is.
But I would say that Cory Mason has David DeGroot and Bob Bradely by the gonads - with sewer and water - and yeah - the Burbs which are filled with criminals crashing cars, shooting em up - murder - drugs - prostitution and white collar crime - will reach the bottom first. Know your betters - and Cory Mason is a Fox. The Burbs are Chickens. The Fox is loose.

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. -- A Kansas police officer has resigned after he admitted to making up a story that a McDonald's employee wrote an expletive and the word “pig” on a coffee cup, the police chief announced Monday.
Herington Police Chief Brian Hornaday said at a news conference that the now-former officer “completely and solely fabricated” the allegations. Hornaday said the officer told him the incident was “meant to be a joke.”
Hornaday did not name the 23-year-old officer, but said he had been with the department about two months after spending approximately five years in the Army.
The police chief also “applauded” McDonald's for conducting its own investigation and for cooperating in the department's.
It's “absolutely a black eye on law enforcement,” Hornaday said, also calling the incident an “obvious violation” of the public's trust.
Earlier Monday, the McDonald's in Junction City disputed the allegations made by the officer, who had said he received the cup with the expletive written on it as he stopped there on his way to work.
Dana Cook, the owner of the McDonald’s, said in a written statement that the restaurant has security video that proves none of its employees wrote the words.
In Hornaday's initial Facebook post, he said one of his officers was handed the cup Saturday when he went through the McDonald's drive-thru.
"This behavior has been, is and always will be wrong," Hornaday said in the original post.
He didn't immediately return an email message Monday from The Associated Press.
But he told WIBW-TV that his reaction after the initial report was based on believing that a police officer has integrity "and it would be foolish of any law enforcement agency or professional to not take the word of their police officer until they can be proven otherwise.”
Hornaday said Monday he had spoken with the local prosecutor and that criminal charges against the officer were not warranted at this time.

RACINE — After 20 years on the City Council, Alderman Sandy Weidner of the 6th District is not running for her seat in the spring 2020 election.
“It was a tough decision,” Weidner said in a phone conversation on Monday. “It was a decision that was made between my family and I.”
At committee or City Council meetings, Weidner often asks tough questions, even about initiatives that she supports, and isn’t shy about voicing opposition.
“That’s what makes it so difficult for me to leave because I know that I do fill that role,” she said.
Weidner has also faced a good deal of controversy. She’s the plaintiff in a court case before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals over open records and which correspondences with the City Attorney’s office can be classified under attorney-client privilege. She’s also rubbed some council members the wrong way by laughing or commenting while other members have the floor.
She feels that it is her outspokenness and willingness to dissent has made her a pariah in city government.
“The council is for me a very toxic place,” she said.
That is partly why she turned in her noncandidacy paperwork on Thursday.

Higher snow totals now include Milwaukee suburbs as evening commute to be impacted

Milwaukee's northwest suburbs are under a winter weather advisory for 3 to 5 inches of snow on Monday, and the remainder of the metro area is forecast to receive 2-3 inches of snow, all of it impacting the evening commute, forecasters say.
The remainder of the metro area could be added to the advisory depending on how the storm develops later in the day, forecasters say.

Overnight, the National Weather Service added Washington County to the winter weather advisory, which now includes Germantown, Richfield, Jackson, West Bend and Slinger.
Columbia and Dodge counties were also added to the advisory overnight and forecasters "may need to add another tier of counties to the south, depending on if (forecast) models get stronger..." with the storm.

For southeast and south central Wisconsin, "snow will begin to accumulate from northwest to southeast later this morning into this afternoon, with the greatest accumulations occurring this evening between approximately 6 p.m. and midnight," the weather service said in a statement. "The entire outlook area will see some snow, with the highest totals expected to occur north of I-94."
As of Monday morning, Milwaukee was forecast to receive 2-3 inches of snow from the storm. Waukesha was forecast to receive 3-4 inches. Madison was expecting 2-4 inches.
Look for the snow to begin around 2 p.m. in Madison, 3 p.m. in Waukesha and West Bend and around 4 p.m. in Milwaukee.

They’re
setting up high-end boutique pot shops just across the border as
Illinois on Jan. 1 joins the growing ranks of states with legalized
marijuana for recreational purposes.
We
have no doubt that some Wisconsinites will pound down Interstate 94
for a little recreational outing of their own to legally purchase
marijuana.
That
may not be a road you want to go down.
Yes,
Badger State residents who are 21 years old or older can make legal
purchases in Illinois. But no, you cannot consume it in public. As
the spokesman for Green Thumb Industries, which is setting up a chain
of five marijuana dispensaries, told a Lee Newspaper reporter this
month: “Illinois does not allow public consumption. Not in parking
lots, not in your car. No parks, no beach, no baseball games, no
football games. Nowhere.”
So
where do you go with your fresh pack of buds, joints or edibles?
“You
have to get in your car and leave and consume in private,” the
spokesman said.
And woe be it to you if you decide to go straight home to Wisconsin, where possession and/or sales are still illegal under the law and where Kenosha County deputies will be waiting with open arms and citation books.
“Our
deputies will continue their duties educating people about the laws
of controlled substances and the dangers of driving under the
influence,” a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department statement said.
That
“education” could include a misdemeanor citation with the
possibility of six months behind bars and a $1,000 fine or, for a
second offense, a felony conviction with up to 3½ years in prison.
You could lose your driver’s license and your car could be
impounded.
But,
wait, beyond that is Door No. 2, with more prizes. Across Wisconsin
there were more than 17,000 arrests for marijuana possession last
year and more than 1,800 arrests for marijuana sales, according to a
Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism report in October.
Together, they accounted for 61 percent of the state’s drug
arrests.
Arrest
and conviction records, the report said, “can make it harder to get
jobs, professional licenses, financial aid for higher education and
government assistance.”
Landlords
can refuse to rent to you. Government subsidized housing can be
denied because of a criminal conviction. College students can lose
their eligibility for federal financial aid. And yes, while it is a
gray area, prospective employers can skip your application if they
determine a drug conviction is “substantially related” to the
job.
It’s
all waiting just down the highway in the Land of Lincoln. Just make
sure you don’t bring home any souvenirs.

After about 4 months of Weidner's court case not being scheduled, we notified the Wisconsin Supreme Court on November 19th, 2019 of our concerns of calendar abuse by Judge Neubauer. On November 26th. the case was then calendared
to proceed for a verdict.
No coincidence there!
Judge Neubauer is obviously in need to be
schooled about the rule of law.
Facts are Neubauer and Gasiorkiewicz are anarchists, criminals within our judiciary that have not been held accountable for their crimes because of other complicit government officials.

John Dickert - Wikipedia
John T. Dickert (born December 6, 1962) is an American Democratic politician and was the 57th mayor of Racine, Wisconsin. He now works as the executive director of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative.[1] He was elected mayor in a 2009 special election and was re-elected twice, in 2011 and 2015. He resigned in 2017 to assume his current role.

Dickert's familial roots extend three generations in Racine. In 1880, his great-great grandfather arrived and started a family and small plumbing business, Dickert Brothers Plumbing Company. That business lasted more than a century.[2] John Dickert was born December 6, 1962. He attended St. Catherine's High School and received his bachelor's degree in political science and mass communication from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.[3] While in college, he was elected to the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors. Dickert then worked as an intern for Congressman Les Aspin in Washington D.C. Dickert returned to Racine to serve as Congressional District Director for State Assemblyman Peter Barca. Dickert ran twice in Democratic primary elections for Wisconsin State Assembly in the 61st district against Robert Turner, but was defeated both times. Dickert became a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker in 2003 and First Weber in 2007, then ran for mayor of Racine in 2009.[3]
Mayoralty[edit source]
John Dickert served as mayor from May 2009 through July 2017. He was first elected to finish the term of Gary E. Becker, who had resigned in January after being charged with six felonies.[4] He was elected on May 5, 2009, and was inaugurated on May 19,[5] taking over from acting Mayor Tom Friedel. After winning regular elections in August 2011 and again in August 2015, Dickert ultimately served one full term and two partial terms.[6]
While mayor, Dickert served as president of the Urban Alliance, a group of mayors from Wisconsin’s largest metro regions, from its creation in 2011 until he was succeeded by Manitowoc mayor Justin Nickels in 2014.[7][8] Dickert also served on the United States Conference of Mayors, primarily as Vice Chair of the Metro Economies Committee,[9] as well as on its Mayors Water Council.[10] Additionally, he was a member of Governor Scott Walker’s Wisconsin Coastal Management Council.[11]
On March 27, 2017, Dickert announced his plans to resign from the mayoralty to take the position of executive director at the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, a binational group of U.S. and Canadian "mayors and local officials working to advance the protection and restoration of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River."[12] Dickert had previously served on the organization's board of directors, and was the chairman of the board between 2014 and 2015.[13]
Dickert formally resigned on July 16, 2017, and Dennis Wiser, previously president of the Racine City Council, automatically became acting mayor. Democrat Cory Mason was elected Mayor of Racine, Wisconsin on November 7, 2017 after winning the special election.[1]
