The Revenge of the Illusionists at the Whim of the Deluded

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com
“Our impulses are being redirected. We are living in an artificially induced state of consciousness that resembles sleep… The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent. They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves…, to others…, we are focused only on our own gain. Please understand they are safe as long as they are not discovered. That is their primary method of survival: To keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated.”
– “They Live” (1988), John Carpenter, Universal Pictures, Release date: November 4, 1988

John Carpenter’s cult classic film “They Live” foreshadowed our current time in so many ways. The story told of disguised freaks appearing human while consolidating control over the upper echelons of society. To do this, they lulled the masses to sleep via advertising and materialism. The electronic media acted as a hypnotist’s watch on lethargic plebeians as they were cajoled into a dreamlike state, treated like puppets, and surveilled – by flying drones no less.
Given our current circumstances today the movie would be considered non-fiction; except with the truth-tellers on the still-free internet acting as the good guy media hackers distributing the sunglasses in the film that allowed the freaks to be seen in all their loathsome hideousness.
In “They Live”, the media hackers and sunglasses allowed the public to see behind the curtain, so to speak, which is a phrase taken from another film, “The Wizard of Oz”. It was when Dorothy and friends could see the wizard after a curtain fell and revealing him to be just a man operating technological buttons, levers, and a microphone in order to cast illusions upon the inhabitants of Oz.
And here’s the point of these cinematic parables:  The grotesque freaks from “They Live” and the wizard from the “Wizard of Oz” knew what they were doing as they purposefully deceived the citizens in their respective worlds; and the deceiving con artists did this so as to consolidate power and maintain control over whom they perceived to be dupes.
Sound familiar?

The Gossiping, Power-Hungry Gambino Crime Family: A Rare Look Inside

From The Nrw York Times.com:

A case against reputed Mafia members revealed their conversations when their boss was killed.

Francesco Cali, the reputed underboss of the Gambino crime family, was fatally shot in March outside his home, the brick building on the right, in the Todt Hill section of Staten Island.

On a quiet night in March, a mob leader was executed in New York City for the first time since 1985. The body of Francesco Cali, a reputed boss of the Gambino crime family, lay crumpled outside his Staten Island home, pierced by at least six bullets.
Hours later, two soldiers in the Gambino family talked on the phone. One of them, Vincent Fiore, said he had just read a “short article” about the “news,” according to prosecutors.
No tears were shed for their fallen leader. The murder was “a good thing,” Mr. Fiore, 57, said on the call. The vacuum at the top meant that Andrew Campos, described by the authorities as the Gambino captain who ran Mr. Fiore’s crew, was poised to gain more power.
Mr. Cali’s death was just the beginning of surprises to come for the Gambino family.
Last week, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn charged Mr. Fiore and 11 others in a sprawling racketeering scheme linked to the Gambinos, once the country’s pre-eminent organized crime dynasty. The charges stemmed from a yearslong investigation involving wiretapped calls, physical surveillance and even listening devices installed inside an office where mob associates worked.
As part of the case, the government released a court filing that offered an extremely rare glimpse at the reactions inside a Mafia family to the murder — a curious mix of mourning and jockeying for power. The case showed that life in the mob can be just as petty as life in a corporate cubicle.
“Mob guys are the biggest gossips in the world,” said James J. Hunt, the former head of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s office in New York. “You think they’re tough guys, but they’re all looking out for themselves. The only way they get promoted is by a guy dying or going to jail.”

A runner who smacked a reporter's backside on air now faces charges

(CNN)The man accused of slapping a news reporter on the backside while she was reporting live in Savannah, Georgia, last week has been arrested and charged with sexual battery, according to her employer, CNN affiliate WSAV.
Thomas Callaway turned himself in at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office on Friday and was released on a $1,300 bond, according to a report by WSAV.
Callaway is accused of hitting Savannah reporter Alex Bozarjian on her backside as she was reporting at the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run and he was running in the event. The incident was caught on camera, and Bozarjian's reporting was momentarily interrupted by her stunned reaction.
Bozarjian filed a sexual battery complaint with the Savannah Police Department. The report says she "described the smack as a 'smack and grab,' advising that he also grabbed her buttocks in the same motion. She stated she felt a sharp sting after the smack and advised that it caused her to pause during the broadcast."
Bozarjian's attorney, Gloria Allred, provided a brief statement to WSAV Friday saying, "Alex is looking forward to justice in this case."
"To the man who smacked my butt on live TV this morning: You violated, objectified, and embarrassed me," Bozarjian said on Twitter. "No woman should EVER have to put up with this at work or anywhere!! Do better."
CNN has reached out to the County Sheriff's Department and attorneys for Bozarjian and Callaway for comment on the charges.
During an interview with WSAV on Tuesday, Callaway apologized to Bozarjian saying, "Alex, I am sorry. I did not mean to do this. I think you're a great, great asset to this community and to the local media and to the national media. You're very talented. You're an amazing woman from what I've gathered, and I apologize."
Callaway has been banned from registering for all Savannah Sports Council owned races, according to council director Rob Wells.
The station said in a statement that it is supporting Bozarjian and prioritizes the safety of its employees.

New Orleans mayor declares state of emergency in wake of city cyberattack - CNN

(CNN)New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell declared a state of emergency Friday after the city was hit by a cyberattack.
Phishing attempts and suspicious activity were detected on the city's network around 5 a.m., New Orleans chief information officer Kim LaGrue said during a press conference. By 11 a.m., technician investigators detected "a cybersecurity incident" and the city's information technology department began powering down servers and city computers as a precaution, the New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness said in a series of tweets.
While ransomware was detected, no ransom has been demanded in the cyberattack, Cantrell said.
At this time, the city does not believe any employee information was compromised during the phishing attempts that occurred.
The incident is being investigated by the city with assistance from the Louisiana State Police, Louisiana National Guard, the FBI and Secret Service, according to the tweets.
The city's 911 system was not affected by the attack, the city said.
Cantrell said the attack is similar to the most recent attack on the state level. In July, several school systems in Louisiana were attacked by malware, prompting the governor to issue a state of emergency.

State tells Foxconn it's not eligible for tax credits

          From The Journal Times.com:

          •

MADISON — In the latest point of contention surrounding Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion deal with Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer Foxconn, Gov. Tony Evers’ administration has told the company it no longer is eligible for tax subsidies agreed to in the original contract.
The state’s 2017 contract with Foxconn, which included nearly $4 billion in state and local tax incentives, was for a $10 billion, 20-million-square-foot campus and 13,000 jobs over 15 years. However, multiple updates to the company’s plans have resulted in a vastly different project altogether, state officials argue.
In a Nov. 4 letter to Foxconn’s chief business officer Richard Vinvent, Department of Administration Secretary Joel Brennan said the company’s current project is “materially different in nature, type, cost, size and job-creation terms” than the original Generation 10.5 manufacturing facility for larger panels for TV screens agreed to in the contract two years ago.
The project has since downsized to a Generation 6 facility, which would manufacture small screens for mobile phones, tablets, notebooks and wearable devices.
Foxconn is free not to request tax credits and therefore has no obligation to submit new applications,” Brennan wrote in the letter. “However, because Foxconn’s present project has not been applied for, evaluated by WEDC, certified for eligibility, and properly contracted for, it presently is ineligible for tax credits under Wisconsin law.”

          Foxconn: We are in compliance

In a statement, Foxconn Technology Group confirmed that discussions are taking place with state officials “regarding our commitment to bring substantial impact to Wisconsin’s economy, workforce and educational institutions.”
Foxconn is in compliance with the terms of the agreement with WEDC and we will continue to work with the State in good faith,” according to the statement. “Foxconn is hopeful that we will arrive at a mutually acceptable resolution so we can continue with a project that is important to our company and to the development of technology in Wisconsin.”
Foxconn is required to provide the WEDC with an update on its progress and how many jobs have been created by April 1 to determine whether the company qualifies for state tax credits. The company fell 82 jobs short of the minimum required to claim state tax credits in 2018.
The company has said it intends to have its manufacturing facility up and running by the end of 2020.
Foxconn Vice Chairman Jay Lee earlier this month told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the company had hired more than 520 employees and would qualify for state tax credits.
However, Brennan’s letter indicates the company will not be eligible unless the contract is amended to reflect the current project.Documents first published by The Verge detail back and forth communications between Evers, Brennan, former WEDC secretary Mark Hogan and current WEDC secretary Melissa Hughes and Foxconn officials over the project.
According to documents, Louis Woo, an assistant to Foxconn founder Terry Gou, notified state officials that the project had been downsized and expressed an interest in a revised plan to reflect the smaller effort. Hogan agreed that such an amendment was possible.
However, such an amendment from Foxconn never materialized despite several recommendations to company leadership from Hogan, Brennan and Evers over the course of the summer.
Following a tour of the Foxconn site, Hughes on Nov. 18 wrote company officials seeking a sit down meeting to have further conversations “to discuss how best to align Foxconn’s needs and expectations with those of the State, WEDC, and of course, the citizens of Wisconsin.”
That same day, Alan Yeung, director of U.S. Strategic Initiatives for Foxconn, wrote Brennan and Hughes expressing frustration that the Generation 6 project would not be qualified for tax credits.
While Foxconn invests millions of dollars into the State of Wisconsin and hires job seekers, these efforts are being impeded by the current administration’s red herrings over the material terms of the Contract, which are overall capital investment and long-term job growth,” Yeung said in the letter.

          Hintz: Foxconn dishonest

Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, who is a member of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. board, described Foxconn as being “dishonest and nontransparent.”
There’s no viable project, there’s nothing happening that’s remotely close to the contract and we have a company that seems to be setting itself up for an excuse to potentially back out of the entire project,” Hintz said. “They appear to be disrespecting both our legal system and the transparency that comes along with taking taxpayer dollars.”
WEDC Secretary Melissa Hughes in a statement said she has been pleased with Foxconn’s development so far, but added it’s expected the state’s contract with Foxconn will likely evolve over its 15-year duration.
As Foxconn implements its strategic vision, WEDC has a process to work with them and evaluate the project to ensure it also meets the needs of Wisconsin’s taxpayers,” Hughes said in the statement. “We are asking Foxconn to come to the table so we can fully understand their plans, how they are evolving, how we can assist them, and how we can do this together in a way that WEDC remains accountable and transparent to the people of Wisconsin who have invested in this project.”

New Lows Reached in City of Racine

          Dear City of Racine Alderpersons,

I note that the City of Racine has achieved a new low - as it now
seeks to end the cable franchise which provides much needed City
revenue - and which was once headed by Scott Nelson - as a local
          alternative to Corporate/Government controlled media.

          See: https://journaltimes.com/news/local/car-belletv-has-gone-dark-meetings-still-streaming-online/article_fdb649d3-29a9-5522-883a-11fa98a87e80.html
          As Cindy and I note:

"Cory Mason and the Common Council had NO problem with increasing the
Mayor's office from 3 underworked persons at a cost of $460,080 to 5!
YES - 5 persons collecting a taxpayer funded salary and huge tax-free
          benefit package at $736,435.

Yet CAR 25 has to go.....

And didn't John Dickert and Mary Jerger Osterman promise that Belle
City TV would be broadcast everywhere, bring in thousands of tourists,
          and millions in revenue!

There needs to be a criminal investigation to what happened during the
transition, how the transition occurred, where the equipment is, and
why it was allowed to be destroyed".

Meanwhile more criminal activity continues as RPD - under the
direction of Mayor Cory Mason acts to protect a criminally drunk City
Employee who not only engaged in hit and run - fled the scene - and
lied about the circumstances.... well - that Lying, drunk, and harmful
Employee is RPD Sgt. Sam Stulo.

I'll tell you what - the criminals in this case are Mayor Cory Mason
and Chief of Police Art Howell for defending RPD Officer Sam Stulo
against his criminal actions and participating in a cover-up. Is there
anyone with a sense of morality and fair play - except for Sandy
Weidner and sometimes Carrie Glenn who sits on the Common Council?

Sgt. Sam Stulo needs to be !FIRED! and imprisoned - along with Chief
of RPD lying, cheating and hating Police - Art Howell. Incompetence
and Cover Ups are his Chief profession.

Then we got Teezers Bar - license STILL not yet revoked - despite
various shootings, killings, madness & mayhem - OH WAIT! WHITE and
politically owned! Cop bar - where what happens there is
          unaccountable.

Meanwhile - "Top Cop" Racine County DA Trish "The HAM" Hanson's
          Husband has.... well...

Did you know that Michael Gabbey, the husband of current Racine County
District Attorney Patricia Hanson-is currently under investigation by
the Wisconsin Judicial Commission? Did you know that after allegations
were lodged against him, he resigned from his position as Town of
          Norway Municipal Judge?

One of the more probable reasons why Michael Gabbey resigned from this
position may have been the ongoing investigation on him by the
Wisconsin Judicial Commission. Allegations of sexual harassment by a
former court clerk/secretary to be exact. According to a highly
reliable source within the Racine County Government, while acting in
the capacity of Judge, Michael Gabbey made sexually charged comments
to this woman over an extended period of time. So much so that the
woman's husband filed an official complaint-which later reached the
Wisconsin Judicial Commission as well as the Norway Town Board.
According to this source, Judge Gabbey told this court employee that
he had a 'big p***s' and invited her to his home to partake in a 3
some with another 'big d**k firefighter from Racine.' Women described
feeling 'harassed' and 'intimated' by him. Furthermore, absolutely no
local media outlets have, so far, reported on ANY of this. An Open
Records request lodged on September 23, 2019 for any information
regarding these allegations was met with a brick wall.

City of Ratcine needs to stop oppressing, hating, and killing
Residents because it is obvious - to even the most jaded and faded
Observer - that there is an endless supply of money and paid enforcers
to continue the evil dictates brewed up at Ratcine City Hall to drive
out all those who are ACTUALLY creative and productive.

Government is merely a WEALTH TRANSFER SCHEME. John Dickert and Cory

          Musta finally pricked his skin...........

          Hello Tim & Cindy,

Thank you for writing in about the Senate's handling of Cabinet
appointees. I appreciate hearing from my constituents about important
matters and apologize for my delay in responding to your email.

So you are aware, according to Wisconsin Statute 15.05 the Senate must
approve the cabinet appointments. I have included the pertinent
          statute below:

          15.05 Secretaries.

          (1) Selection.

          (a) If a department is under the direction and supervision of a
secretary, the secretary shall be nominated by the governor, and with
the advice and consent of the senate appointed, to serve at the
          pleasure of the governor.

I do appreciate you writing in about this issue. You could also reach
out to your State Senator, Sen. Van Wanggaard, to share your thoughts.
I have included his contact information below for your convenience:

          State Representative

          63rd Assembly District

          My Reply:

          Dear Representative Vos -

I thank you for contacting me about this matter.

I will research it and provide you with an answer in the future.

Thank you for all you have done for the People of WI

          Sincerely,

          Tim & Cindy

          OK reviewed and answered

You - as Senator Vos object to being called a Bastard.

I can tell you - that by Birth - I AM a Bastard.

However - by your various Marriages- YOU Representative Vos are an ADULTERER.

Unless you make a claim to be other than Christian.

And YES - Senator VOS - I do believe that your IQ is below mine - and
I have described you as "Bird Brain" - although that would need to be
          objectively determined.

I do believe that current Governor Tony Evers is your Superior in
morality - I.Q., rank, and civility.

As for Senator Van Wanggard - his I.Q. approaches the lower levels of
the Bell Curve - perhaps approaching that of 70.

Thank you for your response. Always a pleasure.

          Tim & Cindy

And later I did correct my error in naming Robin Vos as a Senator -
instead of a Representative - although I know no Voter who Vos
actually represents - except perhaps Diebold.

Premier Election Solutions, formerly Diebold Election Systems, Inc.
(DESI), was a subsidiary of Diebold that makes and sells voting
machines. In 2009, it was sold to competitor ES&S.

          *WOW*

We'll see how they cover this up.

Meanwhile I see the Enforcers who Rule Racine County have issued a
warrant for the Hero who tried to stop Stulo after he hit & run,
          created injury, mischief and mayhem.

What a fukked up Community City of Ratcine is.
