Mysterious Monolith Found in Romania After Similar One Vanishes from Utah Desert

A metal monolith was reported to have appeared on a scenic location in northern Romania on November 27, a week after a similar structure was reported in Utah’s southeast. Local newspaper Ziar Piatra Neamt reported the finding on a hill near the archaeological site of an old fortress overlooking the Bâtca Doamnei lake. The monolith was between three and four metres tall and appeared empty inside, according to the report. The discovery was reported one week after a similar structure was found in remote desert in Utah by pilots with the state’s Department of Public Safety, which was reported to have disappeared from the location on Friday November 27. Utah police said they would not investigate its disappearance, according to local news reports.
