Rittenhouse, 18, is charged with killing Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, late on Aug. 25 during protests in Kenosha over the police shooting two days earlier of Jacob Blake, who was left paralyzed.
His lawyers say Rittenhouse acted in lawful self-defense, citing widely seen cellphone videos of the shootings.
Up until Friday, all of Rittenhouse's Wisconsin court appearances had been via Zoom, from his lawyer Mark Richards' office in Racine. He did appear in person in a Waukegan, Illinois, courtroom in October while fighting his extradition to Wisconsin. He had returned home to Antioch, Illinois, the night of the shootings before surrendering to police there.

City of Kenosha citizens owe a debt of gratitude to Kyle for single handedly ending the Kenosha riots. City officials abandoned thier responsibilities and let rioters cause mayhem and destruction within the city. THANK YOU KYLE for having the balls to do what was needed as city officials cowarded in fear.
