Car shop owners deny asking Rittenhouse, armed men to protect their property during unrest
Kyle Rittenhouse, third from left, stands with his legal team, from left, Mark Richards, Corey Chirafisi and Natalie Wisco as the jury leaves the room for the day at the Kenosha County Courthouse on November 5, 2021 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse is accused of shooting three demonstrators, killing two of them, during a night of unrest that erupted in Kenosha after a police officer shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back while being arrested in August 2020. Rittenhouse, from Antioch, Illinois, was 17 at the time of the shooting and armed with an assault rifle. He… Show more Sean Krajacic/The Kenosha News /Pool |
KENOSHA - Two brothers whose family owns three car lots downtown told jurors in Kyle Rittenhouse's homicide trial they never asked his group of armed men to protect their businesses or gave them permission to do so.
Some from that group have previously testified a friend of a friend of Rittenhouse's who used to work at Car Source had offered to help, and Anmol "Sam" Khindri accepted, and gave keys to get inside the repair shop and a ladder to get on the roof.
Khindri told jurors Friday he had no such conversations, nor did he offer keys to the shop. He recalled that early on Aug 25, 2020, Rittenhouse was among dozens of people who spoke to him with sympathy and encouragement after the family's main car lot had been burned on the first night of unrest.

Salil Khindri, his brother, also testified. He said he was working with a technician at the family's Car Source lot at 63rd Street and Sheridan Road when Rittenhouse's group of friends and some older men with rifles were mustering at the lot.
This would be where Rittenhouse later killed Joseph Rosenbaum.
Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger asked, "So, all these guys are on your family's property and you don't ask them to leave?"
"Not when they're dressed like that," he said. He even posed for a picture with the group.

Defense attorney Corey Chirafisi suggested Anmol Khindri might be trying to avoid civil liability that might flow from allowing armed men on the family property, where someone was killed.
Khindri denied any such concern.
He seemed unclear and evasive to several more questions from Chirafisi about the extent of the business losses, whether it was insured or if the family had hired a lawyer to deal with the insurance company.
Khindri also seemed to be confused about who he might have seen where and when on Aug. 25th, but repeatedly maintained he made no efforts to obtain the protection of Rittenhouse's group.
"So, were you just willing to let your property be damaged on the 25th? You just resigned yourself to it?"
Khindri said he didn't know.

Earlier Friday, Kariann Swart, Rosenbaum's fiancee, testified he had returned to the motel where the couple had been living late in the afternoon of Aug. 25, after a hospital stay in Milwaukee. She said he took medications to control bipolar condition.
They talked into the evening, she said, before he left on foot around 9:30 p.m. She said she told him not to go downtown because of the unrest and curfew.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers blasts 'woke mob' over COVID-19 news on Pat McAfee show, rips NFL's 'draconian' protocols
“I march,” the Green Bay Packers quarterback puts it, “to the beat of my own drum.”
Rodgers thinks he knows more than the NFL. On Friday, he explained to "The Pat McAfee Show" – his communicative home field – the winding route that led him to his second hailstorm in six months, this one more deeply personal than whether or not he would wear a block G on the side of his helmet this season.
The swirling controversy comes after Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Rodgers said he first had symptoms Tuesday night, felt ill as of late Thursday, but the symptoms dissipated by Friday. The three-time MVP will not play Sunday when the Packers travel to the Kansas City Chiefs, and because he is not vaccinated, Rodgers can’t return until Nov. 13 at the earliest. That threatens the Packers being without their quarterback for a second game, because they host the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 14.
FACT CHECK:Ivermectin is not a proven treatment for COVID-19
RELATED: Health officials react to Aaron Rodgers being unvaccinated, COVID news
That risk was avoidable had Rodgers submitted to the COVID-19 vaccination guidelines agreed upon by the NFL and NFLPA. He instead underwent a journey of self-truth, marching to that beat of his own drum.
“I realize I'm in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now,” Rodgers told McAfee. “So before my final nail gets put in my canceled-culture casket, I think I'd like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself right now.”
When COVID-19 vaccinations were made public this spring, Rodgers said he did not have the same opportunities as the majority of the public. Rodgers said he is allergic to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccines Pfizer and Moderna. He accurately cited the CDC’s warning that people allergic to the Polyethylene glycol ingredient choose another form of protection against the virus.
Rodgers still could have chosen the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which the NFL and NFLPA also agreed to as acceptable protection to avoid more stringent protocol. He instead gathered “more than 500 pages of research on the efficacy of immunizations, all the latest research surrounding my case.” Rodgers studied the science behind mask wearing, what was known and unknown about COVID-19 vaccines, how long antibodies last.
Foxconned: Imaginary Jobs, Bulldozed Homes, and the Sacking of Local Government
Overview
When Wisconsin governor Scott Walker stood shoulder to shoulder with President Trump and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at the White House in July 2017, they painted a glorious picture of his state’s future. Foxconn, the enormous China-based electronics firm, was promising to bring TV manufacturing back to the United States with a $10 billion investment and 13,000 well-paying jobs. They actually were making America great again, they crowed.
Two years later, the project was in shambles. Ten thousand construction workers were supposed to have been building what Trump had promised would be “the eighth wonder of the world.” Instead, land had been seized, homes had been destroyed, and hundreds of millions of municipal dollars had been committed for just a few hundred jobs—nowhere near enough for Foxconn to earn the incentives Walker had shoveled at them. In Foxconned, journalist Lawrence Tabak details the full story of this utter collapse, which was disturbingly inevitable.
As Tabak shows, everything about Foxconn was a disaster. But worse, he reveals how the economic incentive infrastructure across the country is broken, leading to waste, cronyism, and the steady transfer of tax revenue to corporations. Tabak details every kind of financial chicanery, from eminent domain abuse to good old-fashioned looting—all to benefit a coterie of consultants, politicians, and contractors. With compassion and care, he also reports the distressing stories of the many individuals whose lives were upended by Foxconn.

Kyle Rittenhouse trial: Jacob Blake's uncle speaks on 3rd day of testimony
KENOSHA, Wis. - A Kyle Rittenhouse trial juror will no longer be involved in the case because of something he said to a bailiff about the Jacob Blake shooting, the incident that caused the nightly protests that brought Rittenhouse to Kenosha. Blake's uncle said he's "not surprised."
Rittenhouse is the one on trial, but the root of the events of that August night stems from the shooting and wounding of Blake, a Black man, by a white Kenosha police officer days earlier.
On Thursday, Nov. 4, the judge in the Rittenhouse case dismissed a white juror for reportedly making a joke about the shooting.
Before the third day of testimony began in the Rittenhouse trial, Judge Bruce Schroeder called down Juror No. 7.
Kenosha County Prosecutor Thomas Binger
"I was told that while you were being escorted to the car the other day that you began to tell a joke about the shooting of Jacob Blake, and I wanted to see if that was accurate or not?" said Judge Schroeder. "Are you comfortable repeating what the joke was, or do you want to just leave it alone?"
The juror, a retired white man, declined to repeat what he said.
"It was something along the lines of, 'Why did the Kenosha police shoot Jacob Blake seven times?’" said Thomas Binger, prosecutor.
Binger said the joke showed racial bias.
"It’s my understanding that the rest of the joke is, "Because they ran out of bullets,'" said Binger.
Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schoeder
Judge Schroeder said he wants to maintain public confidence in the outcome of the trial.
"It’s clear that the appearance of bias is present, and it would seriously undermine the outcome of the case," he said.
The juror was dismissed.
Outside the courthouse, Jacob Blake's uncle, Justin Blake, reacted.
"Got several texts last night but didn’t say specifically what," he said.
It wasn't until Thursday morning that he heard what was said.
"So it doesn’t surprise us at the least," said Justin Blake. "Matter of fact, we almost knew it was going to happen. I think (dismissing the juror is) the first thing this judge has done to show he’s trying to be non-biased. Our family has tough skin, so we know the environment that we’re in, but it shows the privity, lowliness and the racism that exists and that’s on the jury, in the jury box."
Nineteen jurors remain, including seven alternates made up of 11 women, eight men and only one person of color.
Blake's uncle said Thursday he plans on holding a small march in Kenosha Friday in support of the families of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, killed in the Kenosha shootings.

Have you ever had to answer the question whether “you have your personal things in order” when entering a hospital? “No”, I guess is the answer for most of us. Well in Switzerland, the epicenter of neoliberalism and the home of the WEF, this question has become a standard feature in Swiss Hospital Admission forms, since 1 October 2021. Maybe in other countries too? Or is Switzerland a trial balloon for yet another covid atrocity?
To the question, “why” and “what does it mean?” “Does it mean, whether I have made a testament?” I didn’t get a straight answer by the rather flustered and embarrassed receptionist. In a quiet voice she then told me,
“Most people don’t even notice it.”
Yes, that could be expected from a society in denial or suffering from cognitive dissonance. But why the It in the first place?
Is it a clever pre-screening of capital that can be scraped off in the “case of all cases”? Is it the type of info that may eventually find its way onto your all “storage” QR-Code? See this.

Predators With Badges: The Sex Traffickers On America's Police Forces
Authored by John W. Whitehead & Nisha Whitehead via The Rutherford Institute,
- Former Seattle police chief Norm Stamper
We are a nation on the brink of a nervous breakdown.
Undeniably, the blowback from COVID-19 lockdowns and mandates continues to reverberate around the country, impacting the nation’s struggling workplaces, choking the economy and justifying all manner of authoritarian tyrannies being inflicted on the populace by state and federal governments.
Yet while it is easy to be distracted by political theater, distressed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and divided over authoritarian lockdowns and mandates, there are still darker forces afoot that cannot—should not—must not be ignored.
Here’s a news flash for you: there are sexual predators on America’s police forces.
Indeed, when it comes to sex trafficking—the buying and selling of young girls, boys and women for sex—police have become both predators and pimps. As the Philadelphia Inquirer reports, “Hundreds of police officers across the country have turned from protectors to predators, using the power of their badge to extort sex.”
Victims of sex trafficking report that police are among those “buying” young girls and women for sex. Incredibly, this COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in even greater numbers of children being preyed upon by sex traffickers.
Unfortunately, rather than being part of the solution, America’s police forces—riddled with corruption, brutality, sexual misconduct and drug abuse—have largely become part of the problem.
In New York, for instance, seven NYPD cops—three sergeants, two detectives and two officers—were accused of running brothels that sold 15-minute sexual encounters, raking in more than $2 million over the course of 13 months.
In California, a police sergeant—a 16-year veteran of the police force—was arrested for raping a 16-year-old girl who was being held captive and sold for sex in a home in an upscale neighborhood.
A week-long sting in Florida ended with 277 arrests of individuals accused of sex trafficking, including doctors, pharmacists and police officers.
Sex trafficking victims in Hawaii described “cops asking for sexual favors to more coercive situations like I'll let you go if you do X, Y, or Z for me.”

NBC Reporter Triggered After Armory Sells "Let's Go Brandon" AR-15s
The conservative meme, "Let's Go Brandon!" is a euphemism for "f--- Joe Biden" that has gone viral across America since an early October NASCAR race. The phrase has even made it on the lower of an AR-15, a lightweight semi-automatic rifle, sold by one gun armory in South Carolina, triggering an NBC reporter to call the Secret Service.
NBC News' Ken Dilanian was so distraught about Palmetto State Armory's new "LETSGO-15 Stripped Lower Receiver" that he "called the Secret Service about this" but failed to mention what he actually discussed. He said, "they [Secret Service] had no comment."
Details about the lower include "LETSGO-15" is made "from the most advanced aerospace manufacturing technology." The lower includes a fire selector with three modes: "'F@CK!'" (Safe), "'JOE!'" (Fire), "'BIDEN!'" (Full-Auto)."
"Let's go Brandon" refers to a slogan that has gone viral across America since early October at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama in which a journalist misreported the chant "f--- Joe Biden" as praise toward winning driver Brandon Brown.
More on this is a Maryland-based gun advocacy group, The Machine Gun Nest, which writes:
Considering that the rallying call in 2016 was "F Donald Trump" the idea that a "let's go Brandon" lower receiver would warrant a call to the secret service is another reason why the left has lost Virginia, and will continue to lose states where they are out of touch with the general population. If this lower receiver read "F*** Donald Trump" not sure if this person would have even batted an eye. The fact that the caller in question is a NBC News reporter is Unsurprising, because we know where the corporate media's loyalties lie.
