What's the deal with Beejay?
Wow .. what did I miss? Drama already ... how fun. :)
Yep, there are posts claiming to be lulu too; not our "old friend" Lulu from the former site. I think we did hit the bigtime, whoo hooo! Goes with the territory...Not so much a drama, just childish behavior on the posters part.
Anyone with sense (I'm assuming that would include all jtirregulars) who knows these two bloggers, knows that they are not malicious people and those posts were bogus.
The only way to keep this from happening is to only allow registered people to post and even that won't rid it of the garbage.
I find it strange that Beejay has taken such offense to it - or is there more to it than that?
Orbs, Do you know?
No, I don't. I suspect there is a subtext/undercurrent in more than just her posts, though, but I don't PM or interact with other bloggers much. There are hard feelings out there - towards the Journal Times, towards other bloggers, and towards us for being "traitors." Most people probably want the brouhaha to just go away and things to return to "normal," whatever that is.
There is more to it....scoop was stalking beejay on the the other site and now it appears that it has continued on to this site.
Kc, if we close this site down to only registered users, won't we be too selective? We want to be careful not to censor either. Just a thought.
I would like things to settle down too. However, I LOVE the new freedom to be able to post anything (within reason) and to read other comments from users that state real feelings. I don't want to go back to the restraints of the former site....
Keep the suggestions flowing! It is good to get a lot of feedback so that this becomes everyone's site, not just ruled by a few....p.s. I am not a traitor! I just choose not to be censored!
kk - I totally agree. I don't want this to become a censored or selective site either. I was just thinking aloud what options there really were, which are none.
I actually kind of enjoy the craziness going on. I am getting PMs from people on the JT almost everyday for our "alternative" site. I am not giving it out to those that I think may come here to start trouble, however they will eventually find it anyway!
If some people feel so obligated to stay with the JT, then so be it. I have not ruled out ever posting there again, I just choose not to everyday as in the past due to the stupidity of the censorship. Even if they went back to "the old days" I don't think I would.
Ya right, I'm sure she got a bug up her tush and won't admit it. Typical.
Hi everyone!!
well if someone is pretending to be Beejay, how then don't I know that there is the possibility that I am not who I think I am?
We know we have definitely arrived if the trolls are coming out like worms after all the rain...
I hadn't been checking in on the old site, but I'm glad this was posted so we could reassure the real Beejay that we know better than to think it was her, she is way too kind a person to behave like the troll. what a sad life it is to only have trolling as their only life, just sad...
I found this site easy enough with just a JT Irregulars google such....
I am a former JT site blogger...not a troll...
