I think maybe those drive-in theaters had an ulterior motive for being against DST - without it, they could start their movies an hour earlier. I remember some of those triple features at the drive-in lasting past 2 a.m.
I am in Forth Worth right now so I actually have to worry about a time change!
Even in Arizona, where we don't change times, I spend a day running around changing clocks back that helpfully change automatically. Then I have to get used to all the football games starting an hour later.
