1. National Park
2. I had to look up what qualified as a national park. wikepedia-national-parks The U.S. has 58 national parks in 27 states.
3. It has been, gee... about 20 years since I visited the Smokey Mountains, Mammoth Cave and Redwoods National Park.
4. Not big on rides. Some of the new stuff, where you are flying over trees, etc, with the big movie projection in front of you is kind of neat.
1. National Park
2. Two years ago. Smokey Mountain
3. Smokey Mountain....don't recall any others...wait I was at one in California...and one in Missouri...
4. Not for me...
1) national park?
2) Never been to one
3) Somewhere in Alaska if they have one
4) Roller coasters
1. Both have their charms.
2. Tuesday night I took the picture of Mars, Saturn and Venus from Saguaro National Park East. Of course, that is about a ten minute drive from where I live.
3. Glacier National Park while it still has glaciers. I will be going to Yosemite in October (as part of my job if you can believe that...yeah, a meeting in Yosemite!) Been to Grand Canyon, Everglades, Smoky Mountain, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Virgin Islands National Park (remember I lived on St. Croix), Badlands, Devil's Tower, Buck Island and probably a few others (I realize Devil's Tower and Buck Island are technically National Monuments but your National Parks Pass gets you in there so I counted it!)
4. Mostly a roller coaster person.
1) National park mostly, but I like the occasional carnival.
2) Never been to a national park. I went to the old Riverview Park in Chicago when I was a kid. I was fearless then and rode all of the major rides.
3) Nada
4) Nowadays, I'm a confirmed merry-go-round person, although bumper cars (or even go-karts) would be fun. I have no stomach anymore for the big thrill rides.
1) National Park.
2) The last time that I was in a national park was about 27 years ago when I visited Glacier NP in Montana.
I almost went to the Joshua Tree last summer in CA.
The last time I was at Great America was about 13 years ago.
Although I spent a lot of time in Orange Co. in CA, I never even saw Disneyland.
3) I've been to the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, Theodore Roosevelt (in North Dakota), Glacier, Yellowstone (twice), The Grand Tetons, Rocky Mountain (in Colorado), Effigy Mounds (in Iowa), and Crater Lake
I'd LOVE to visit them all. Yosemite, Hawaii Volcano and the Everglades top my list.
4) Roller coasters definitely! First car-hands up! :)
