Well, let me tell you my tale of woe, guys. I filed a claim with the state for these funds.
They refused me because, there is one other (fill in name) in the State of WI. No, there isn't...there is a record of the scheming woman who stole his identity way back in 1900 and freeze to death. They have an address for a(fill in name again) in Racine County...Duh....This is the money from WI Energies.
The other check, which I think is also WI Energies suddenly appears to the state to be from M&I and I need to provide them with the check? Now if I had the check, don't you think I would have cashed it?
Oh well, my Mother in law got her lousy $50!
My claims came to about $300...well, I never knew I had it coming, so...but I did write WI Energies an perhaps they can provide me with proof that we are the only (name) in the state and particularly in Racine County. GRRRRRRR.

Believe it or not, I got a call last week about my mother's house I sold over a year and a half ago.
Seems that someone (Realtor/title company/insurance company) didn't do their job and follow up with money I paid them for insurance. Now it is sitting on their books and they want to "clear this up."
You wouldn't believe the hoops they want ME to jump through. I've already been to the bank to have an affidavit notarized to say that I am the rightful owner... grrrrr. I am refusing to do all the other things they want. The list of tasks is ridiculous! Um, sorry, I did what was required of me over a year ago....
I am constantly amazed at what a piss poor, irresponsible job so many people do -- and they get away with it!!
Here's to hoping we see our rightfully owed money, beejay!

That is the standard now.
As Mr. D would say 'bastards!'
I don't know but I can not understand your article..other than the fact someone wants your $$. Am I missing something?
A few mos ago, Orbs put a site to go to to see if you had unclaimed money. I did and there was some there in my late husband's name. I filed for it and the response I got was basically what I put as the blog (I omitted his name for obvious reasons.)
