OMG, I had forgotten about teachers' convention...my Mom was a teacher and when we lived in the north woods, she used to bring us gifts from Gimbel's basement. Or was it Boston Store's??? Don't remember, but always the same gift, one of those little nylon pull-over parkas....a zillion years ago.
BTW...when I voted at city hall they asked me for my 'drivers license number'. Now I can remember a lot of numbers (1953 phone number was Jackson 4927J) but a DL number? What a tricky way to see you identification. I didn't mind...just thought it was funny.
Sassa, they can't do that, can they? You just go in and say who you are. Unless you're registering first, then I think they can. In Chicago the dead vote, and not just at Halloween.
Oh..GUESS WHAT I JUST SAW? I just got back from shopping at Pick n Save on Green Bay and this lady was in front of me and WAS CARRYING A HOLSTERED GUN!!!!! WOW!!!

ReplyDeleteBeejay, I agree with you and believe in voter ID, but in Wisconsin it's illegal to ask for ID.
