Check Out my Band's New Album

Someone mentioned the piano in the water would make a good album cover. It reminded me of something I found on Facebook. It was fun to play with and thought maybe you would like to give it a try... You create a first album cover for your new band by following the instructions below. The photo  to the left is my result.

My new band
1- Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use photoshop, paint or similar (sumopaint.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.
5 - Post it, or post a link to the image.

Here is my second attempt.  I blurred it a little to give it a more artistic effect.....Oooohhh.

  1. I'm thinking many bands might just use this method?

  2. The image is the third one that appeared on the page that appeared after I selected "the last 7 days" at the bottom of Flickr's's homepage.

The real T. S. Kerrigan is an American poet. Maybe that's an album of his readings.

  10. It looks great, Stu. What do bands need all those artists and graphic designers for?
