I was out of town and today is the first chance I had to go visit the various sites you have been seeing on the news the last week.
First outside her office. I pass this corner near the turnaround on a 12 mile running route I do.
Now to University Medical Center. This is an easy walk from where I work and where I was taken after my auto accident and where I have said goodbye to a couple of friends.
Finally to the Safeway (which is open again).

amazing
Wow. What a tragedy.
I didn't take any pics, but there was a memorial service for one of the victims at a church about half a block from me today. Nothing unusual outside the church so it just looked like a usual church service.
We all feel the loss, but I want to say how sorry I am for for your loss, hale. Whether you knew her or the others personally, or not, the sorrow hits harder when it is right in your community and you are surrounded by the grief.
Sad, just so sad.
So tragic....but I am encouraged by the progress Rep Giffords is making, according to the media.
