Thank You.........
I never remember or for some reason never hear about until it's to late.
And this is the first time in many years I will have to remember (I am in San Fran).
Since I get the east coast feed for all the cable channels, that means the starting time for every show on cable shifts and hour for me. That's what DVRs are for.
Mom usually lets me know. She has me set all her clocks ahead (or back) the day before.
Most of my clocks change automatically..except one. That one waits til I feel like it. Then it gets to 'pretty soon the time will change back so I don't have to. Talk about lazy!
Thanks for the reminder. The only clock I have a problem changing is the one in my car. You would think after 11 years I would know how to change the clock in my Honda Civic. Oh well if that is all I have to worry about then life is good.
The clock I have the most trouble changing is in my head.
Right now, it is just after 6pm. Still not really dark. Tomorrow it will be 7pm. My hunger seems to be "off" for a while and my sleep gets confused as well.
This also throws the morning commute back into complete darkness. Trying to coax myself out of bed when it feels like the middle of the night is the toughest. Good thing the lengthening of days will take care of that in a few short weeks.
I am thinking I am the only one that looks forward to this day. A lot of my friends are being all crabby over it.
I love it when the daylight lasts longer.
Talk about being bored and can't sleep. I sat here and watched thee computer clock change. It went for 1:29 to 3:00...WOW...
I set them all ahead early in the afternoon so my brain can start resetting itself early, if I wait til I go to bed, then I'm all messed up...
Remember when your computer used to ask if you wanted it to change the time settings? Computers no longer trust our decision making skills enough to ask... they just do it.
I like the lengthening of the days, too, and DST adds an hour instantly. It also screws up my inner clock, but I think the hour push back in the fall is worse. I'll feel like I'm running late for a few days, but it will pass. I wish we'd just switch to DST permanently.
