Hello everyone! Welcome to another amazing episode of Four for Fridays. It's been an interesting week so far. Here are some questions for you.
1) Have you ever been involved in scouting? If so, how far did you go?
2) What clubs were you invoked in high school?
3) How often do you exercise?
4) Did you have any Memorial Day weekend traditions?
Enjoy your weekend!

1-Cub scout for two years.
2- Wasn't involved and any clubs.
3- Walk the dog almost every evening.
4- Watch the Memorial Day Parade on Osborne Blvd, visit with neighborhood friends, have a picnic that involves something on the grill.
You are amazing, Drew.
1. Nope, no scouting here, at least not that kind.
2. back in High School we had three groups of guys...nerds, jocks and burn-outs. I was a jock.
3. Yes, very active, every day.
4. No, no traditions, but a 5th or two come to mind.
Have a great and safe weekend, everyone.
Well, I was in 4-H in Richland County for a year...Scouting, no.
Usherettes, Science Club, FTA (LOL), Library Club...that's about it, I think...did play basketball and volleyball, I guess.
Daily...me and my bike...just finished 12.20 miles today, which is the least number of miles this week.
Stay off the road!
1. Yes for about 3 years. Brownie to Girl Scout.
2. Don't think so.
3. I walk the dog 5-6 days a week.
4. I always try to get to the Cemetery.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Thanks Drew.
1) Yes I was in Girl Scouts from Brownies to being a Leader with my girls.
2) None.
3) When we go out walking around.
4) My family use to get together but not anymore.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Have you ever been involved in scouting? If so, how far did you go?
Yes, Eagle Scout,
What clubs were you invoked in high school?
None
How often do you exercise?
Never...can’t right now
Did you have any Memorial Day weekend traditions?
Use to in the olden days.
1) No scouting.
2) I belonged to the club of guys who smoked cigarettes in the boys restrooms.
3) Getting up is exercise for me.
4) Nope.
Your question of scouting reminds me of the joke;
When does a cub scout become a boy scout?
1. cub, boy, explorer, I use to fly, does that qualify me as an eagle?
2. No association to clubs, I have too much Grucho Marx in me. However, scuba diving, motorcycles, flying, fishing and cards were big in high school.
3. Exercise daily
4. Honor the service men and women who have given thier life or part of thier lives for our freedom.
Enjoy a safe weekend........
1) I was in Cub Scouts then a Webelo for a year.
2) Jed was a jock, I was the burnout in the bathroom smoking a cigarette.
3) Everyday at work feeding the presses.
4) Just cooking out.
1. Nope
2. None
3. Never
4. Pray for the Men and Women that have lost their lives In defense of our Country.
1 - I was invited for one of those open weekends for Girl Scouts/Brownies for a camp out. I had an asthma attack, but I had fun. Though I DID join the marching band for 5 years.
2 - The activities in high school I was involved in were Latin and Pep Band. I was a music nerd. :)
3 - As for actual exercise, I don't. I do go canvassing during election seasons 2-3 days a week, for at least 3 hours each time, I also garden and my job is physically demanding as an aide.
4 - Memorial Day traditions include visiting the family plot every year, and then help clean off another grave totally unrelated to us... It's my way of helping to remember those who don't have anyone left.
1. Brownie, Junior, Girl Scout, Leader.
2. Pom Pons, Ski Club, French Club, Usher Club.
3. Formal exercise? At the moment? Nope. The job has me putting on 8,000 to 12,000 steps every day (many, if not most of those are up and down stairs)
4. Not really. I've done the picnics, visited the cemetery and planted.
I really LOVE Lika's idea of choosing a plot that looks unattended and planting or cleaning it up. I'm going to steal that idea. This is one instance where stealing is a good thing!
Lika, I really lika your idea, of cleaning the other persons grave. I rarely get down to Racine, but when I do, I will try to remember doing this for someone. To me this Is what Memorial Day Is all about. So many people (younger mostly) think of It as a reason to get drunk, stupid, sunshine etc. That Is not the intention, and I not so nicely reminded the girl In the Meat Department at the grocery store yesterday of that fact, for which she still refused to agree. I also told her that In the (OLDEN) days It was called Decoration Day.
1. Yes, I made it to a Star Scout. I have mixed feelings about Boy Scouts these days, as an atheist and someone who advocates for gay rights.
2. Drama, speech, music, computer. No science or math clubs at my small high school.
3. Most days.
4. No.
