When I was working it never cease to amaze me during a fire drill or even a fire how many people would go to their lockers first. Mostly women to get their purses! I went off on a couple one time and they got pissed, they told me right out they are not leaving without it.
I almost got in trouble because I told them, well die instead then you’ll be happy with your f**king purse. They turned me in for talking rude to them, but then they got scolded for going to their lockers instead of exiting the building.
I was in a fire at the old building. The guy across the hall from me died from drunken use of smoking materials. What I regretted leaving behind then was my teeth.
SER, I got MORE, (what I called) Quality Time for saying things to people. One time when the Vending Machine person was In the lunch room I got a bad cup of coffee, (Mostly water) which was VERY common. I looked at the coffee machine, and said "When the ***k are they going to fix this thing. He complained to the switchboard girl, and she turned me In to my boss, who turned me In to HR. who promptly gave me a week off without pay. I even got Quality time for whistling. You name It I got It.

I can't help It, I have lot's to talk about. When I worked at the place I last worked, they fired so many people Is was crazy. I think they must have had 2000 employees In the first 10 years. Anyhow, you could walk In ANY door to the building you wanted to. Nothing was locked or protected. I alway sat at my desk wondering, when someone that was angry was going to come In and shoot all of us? They never did anything, until they got rid of me. They put locks on the doors, and glass you couldn't see through. Hee, Hee. I'm an angry person sometimes, but not dangerous.
This really s ares the s#** out of me. It took me a couple of days to even get the nerve to watch it. Even though we have regular lockdown drills, it is still frightening for most of us as the administration roams the building testing, knocking against doors. Kids find it hard to remain calm and silent. I hope we never need to "perform" for real.
