Hello everyone and welcome back! Like SER said, this week sure flew! Maybe not fast enough though. Guess I'm being spoiled by the time I had off from work. Anyways, here are your questions....
1) What Olympic sport would you like to try?
2) Have you ever taken in a stray animal?
3) Have you ever rescued a wild animal?
4) What piece of technology would like to own, but do not?
Enjoy your weekend!

I guess I will go first today.
1) No
2) Yes I have it was a cat.
3) Yes when I was younger and in Chicago it was a turtle that we let free up north.
4) A laptop so when Drew is on here I can go on the laptop to check things out.
Have a great weekend everyone!
1) What Olympic sport would you like to try?
A. None of them
2) Have you ever taken in a stray animal?
A. Several including helping in the last few days a young ferral/stray cat, and I am not found of cats, any Irregulars want a young friendly cat?
3) Have you ever rescued a wild animal?
A. Several
4) What piece of technology would like to own, but do not?
A. A money printing press, that way we could all be in the money.
Thanks for asking Drew, and everybody have a great weekend!
1. The Luge. You have to be nuts.
2. Yes and his name is Harley.
3. Ducks.
4. I'll have to steal Legals answer to this one as it's the best.
Thanks Drew! Have a great weekend.
1. Absolutely NONE.
2. Hee, Hee. Most of the animals I have owned have been stray's, or In Winnie's case rescue. I feel just horrible, how Orphan Canines has gone to hell.
3. Yes, Last year I had to run out on the road to rescue a baby Robin, and a few years ago, a large Turtle down the street, In the road.
4. A BIG fancy Motorhome.
1. Competitive Olympic watching (from the stands!)
2. A couple of the rescues I've taken in, in years past, were found stray iggies, found running 'wild'. One was found in a park west of the "I" off hy 20, the other, I never got her story, but she was terribly traumatized, I can only imagine what she encountered while on the run :(
3. only if robins count. Baby, my 1st iggie, found the front tree fascinating, and like this thing it found as a perch, only to find it was an 'active' robin nest... the parents never came back, so I brought in the nest, put a light over it and sure enough, a day later, they hatched, after a couple days of endless worm feeding, I took them to a wild life rescue place way out somewhere.
4. I'm intrigued by the 'computer'(?) that looks to be not only a tablet but also a laptop. Detachable, I think? The commercials make it look very interesting to work. My only hang up is that I can't handle not having a mouse...
1. I would probably hate it, but I've always been a sledder and would like to try the luge. Funny that Mary had the same answer.
2. As a child, we took in everything: birds, rabbits, turtles, cats, dogs.
3. See answer #2
4. I need a new camera. (cough) I am also looking at computers since my well loved XP is now outdated.
Thanks, drew. Have a great weekend, Irregulars!
1) Olympic sleeping.
2) Gordy, my cat before this one, was a stray. Also, I once found a stray kitten underneath my mother's porch and I talked mom into keeping her. (Mom already had a pair of sister cats.)
3) Not that I can think of.
4) Flying Car. Back in the 50's, everyone said we'd have flying cars by now. And robot butlers and maids. Where are those? I think we're supposed to be colonizing Mars by now, too.
Thank you, Mr. drew, for those questions.
1) What Olympic sport would you like to try?
Ice dance, as it is so beautiful.
2) Have you ever taken in a stray animal?
I have one right now and have always had them...I'm worse than the kids. I have saved over a dozen turtles on the roadway. LOL
3) Have you ever rescued a wild animal?
A few men in my day that were really never tame.
4) What piece of technology would like to own, but do not?
I have all the technology I can handle .
KK We could do it together. Of course we'd have to have a 5th ourselves. I can see us now. Screaming bloody murder and at the end, laughing and doing it again.
1) Probably luge....
2) I've never taken in a stray.
3) Out in the field, I'm more or less an observer, therefore I tend leave things for Mother Nature to take car of. Heart wrenching and cruel it may seen, predators do pick off the injured and they do have to eat. Yet, I have thought of and attempted to capture ducks, geese and recently, a tern with broken wings to rescue. That could easily lead to a more serious injury to myself and the birds. Secondly, the Humane Society in Racine won't help. You gotta call places Milwaukee or Elkhorn.
4) I'd like a lap top.
