Hello everyone and welcome back! Another week has gone, but this one seemed to drag on and on. Maybe I got too spoiled from my time off. Anyways, your questions....
1) What do you think of the speed limit being raised to 70 MPH?
2) What was the cheapest you ever bought a car for?
3) What is your favorite candle aroma?
4) What was the most money you have ever found?
Enjoy your weekend!

1) What do you think of the speed limit being raised to 70 MPH?
A: I think it's fine. I didn't realize it was a limit, I always thought of it as a suggestion.
2) What was the cheapest you ever bought a car for?
A: $100.00 I drove it home, took the engine out and sold it for $150.00. Stripped the car of all the parts I wanted, sold the remainder of the car to the junkman for $50.
3) What is your favorite candle aroma?
A: Scented candles give me a headache and aggravate my asthma.
4) What was the most money you have ever found?
A: Last year I found $10.00 on the way out of the movie theater. I still feel underappreciated, it should have been $12.00.
1. You mean 80 to 85? DUMB idea.
2. My dad wanted me to have his car, when he died.
3. Pine, like I'm camping.
4. Maybe 5 bucks?
1) I do not like the idea some people already drive a lot faster then that.
2) I had gotten one from my parents that my mom did not want any more.
3) I like pine or vanilla they are my favorite.
4) $100.00 when I lived in Illinois and are neighbor was a policeman and he took it to the station and no one claimed it so he brought the money back to me and it was all mine.
Have a great day everyone.
1. It's 70 everywhere else. I say do it!
2. My '68 Mustang for $1800
3. Apple Crisp.
4. $20 on the ground and recently a $5.
Thanks, Drew. Have a great weekend.
1. We have a road here in the city that is officially called The Lake Hefner Parkway. Locals refer to it as the speedway. Speed limit is 70 but I've had people blow by me when I'm doing 70.
2. I think it was $1500.
3. Tis The Season.
4. Twenty bucks in a coat pocket.
Thanks Drew
1. Wasn't that suggested years ago, but they said we would lose federal funding or something? I agree, people will push it farther and accidents will be more deadly. I heard them say that they are going for strict enforcement at the beginning....so, I guess it will be a local money maker.
2. I've never gotten a good deal on a car. Maybe DodgeBoy should be my broker?
3. Vanilla and cinnamon. I'm usually too worried to light them. I'm afraid I'll fall asleep and toast myself.
4. I once found a wazooo of money in a zippered bank envelope. I had a moment of yahoo, but my conscience got me and I turned it in. There was over $10,000.00 in cash and a bunch of checks. Nope, no reward given. Jerk.
Feeling faintly deja-vu. Did we answer some of these before? No complaints. Thanks, drew!
1) I rarely drive on the freeway. Cars drive in packs. If one screws up, they all go. I've tried to stay between the packs, but someone is always pushing it and pretty soon I'm in another pack. They should make the speed limit 150 mph, then let Darwin do his work.
2) Free, twice. One from my dad and one from a friend. The one from Dad, a '58 DeSoto, soon died, but the other one (Buick) lasted a long time.
3) I like what THB likes. Apple is OK, too.
4) $5 when I was a kid. It was raining and the bill was soaked, but i didn't care. Back then, $5 was a lot of money to a kid.
Thanks for the questions, Drew. Good birding to you.
1) What do you think of the speed limit being raised to 70 MPH?
Fine, it should reduce the amount of speeding tickets issued for 10 - 12 over.
2) What was the cheapest you ever bought a car for?
'56 Buick for $50.00
3) What is your favorite candle aroma?
Apple pie
4) What was the most money you have ever found?
Not much, i think $20.00
A follow up on #4...
I did find a leather folder/pouch filled with cash and wedding cards. I watched the bride and groom drive away with it on the roof of their car so i stopped and grabbed it and thought "tricker Treat", but i chased them down and gave it to them, like KK...no reward.
Actually i think both of them peed the pants when they saw me holding it up in my car windown.
1. I like it. When we've driven down to Florida, traffic was less insane in areas where it was 70 than in lower areas. There didn't seem to be as much speeding, not as much bottle necking, less congestion.
2. $150, a technically totaled VW Rabbit, after I rolled by Beetle on black ice. That rabbit was fun to drive, the only down side, I had to get in thru the passenger side. People mocked me relentlessly, until winter, when all their cars refused to start and they needed rides.
3. vanilla and orange
4. $5, and odd change
