Drew and I had taken my daughters half sister to the Raymond Parade and Fireworks on the 4th of July. We did not want to deal with the crowds around here so I looked to see what else was around the area and this is what we found. There was not a lot of people and it was a small parade only about an hour long but was very nice and they did have things for the kids to do after the parade. This was on 76th st and 5Mile Rd. in Raymond. I was even able to park in a field right by the road for the parade and for the fireworks we park right on 76th st and watch the fireworks from the car, they shot the fireworks off behind the school. We all really enjoyed it and I would go back there again too. Here are some pictures to share with everyone.
There is a lot more pictures from the parade with the tractors and more from the 5h club and snowmobile club. I just put some of the pictures. I hope everyone enjoys this.

Glad that you guys had fun. Love the pictures. Thanks for posting.
I found out on Saturday that my sister and brother in law were in the Racine parade. Who knew? Well, apparently everyone but us.
Thanks for posting THB.
I like the idea of a smaller, friendlier parade. Raymond looks like it. Thanks, THB, for the pics.
You are very welcome everyone I am glad everyone enjoyed the pictures.
we did Franklin years ago with the kids, they loved all the candy they threw during the parade. Their fireworks are awesome too. Now that everybody is all grown up, and I have less and less tolerance for crowds, I loved watching our parade, from home, on TV. Comfy seating, no crazy people in the way, no crowds, bathroom close by, no sun in your eyes, and great coverage and better shots than you could see if you were there. With the commentators, you even got some history and info you wouldn't get otherwise. Glad you had fun!
