Merry Christmas! I'm filling in for THB because she and drew went "up north" for Christmas with family. I hope you enjoy your questions this week.
1) Do you exchange gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day or both?
2) Are you staying home or traveling for Christmas?
3) As a child, what was your favorite part of Christmas? How about as an adult?
4) What is the true meaning of Christmas?
Thank you for reading. Happy New Year!

1. As a child, we exchanged on Christmas Eve. Dan and I now exchange on Christmas Day.
2. H O M E.
3. The ornaments on the tree. Still the same. I do a memory tree. Each ornament, for the most part, has a meaning to me.
4. To me, it is about loving your fellow man. Kindness to each other. It's about the way we should truly try to live each and very day of our lives. Unfortunately, for many, that behavior only lasts a few hours.....
1. Christmas eve. When the kids still lived here, we would split opening between both days, but now, everything happened yesterday.
2. Mom lives in Caledonia, I don't think that counted as traveling :) Today, not doing anything at all, except cooking a turkey
3. as a kid - presents of course! as a grown up, all the decorations and lights, and family time
4. For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace Isaiah 9:6
We never decorated with, nor talked about Santa with our kids when they were little. It was hard keeping them from the over commercialism out there. I took that for granted. When Ms Froggy was about 4, we were at Pick N Save, and a Santa Claus dressed character was walking around. She excitedly asked who the clown was... oops. We talked about it that night :)
1) As a child, we exchanged personal presents on Christmas Eve, and then Santa arrived overnight and put out more presents for us to open in the morning.
2) Home.
3) As a kid, I loved it all, especially the presents. Today, it doesn't mean much to me.
4) I have no idea.
Thank you Sheriff for doing the Four for Fridays for me today. I really appreciate the help from you this last month.
1) Both days with both families.
2) As everyone already knows we went up north.
3) For both parts it is being with family.
4) The Birth of Jesus.
Merry Christmas everyone!
1. As children, we exchanged personal gifts on Christmas eve. Santa would come during the night. We'd be up at the crack of dawn for his gifts. I did the same with my kids.
2. Christmas was at my place. Round two is on Sunday. We had a couple who were under the weather for the first shindig.
3. I would have always said the presents. Looking back, it was really the special family time that meant so much, and are now the warm memories.
4. See answer #3.
Merry Christmas Irregular friends. You are just as important as family.
