I have an announcement to make. Apparently I've become a political junkie. That is why I'm not here so much. But after Wednesday things will be normal again if we even know what normal is.
I'm going to take the DMV course for people who fail to yield the right-of-way. $100. This damn accident has cost me $240 so far and I haven't even touched the damage to my truck.
The online course takes about 2 hours. You can tell that some of the videos and comments are meant for new drivers. After all, the course was administered by a driving school. There's a test at the end with 15 questions. I got them all right except one. 93%. You have to hit at least 80% to pass.
I'm sorry, but I consider this a waste of time and $99. A lot of stuff from when I went to driving school came back to me. I learned nothing new, but you have to pick up on their lingo to pass the test. They call a blind spot a "No Zone." What's the matter with "blind spot"?
An utter and complete waste of 2 hours and $100. The state doesn't care; they just want the money.
