I received a letter from Spectrum today that states that since they're such a great company and I'm such a great customer that they've doubled my internet speed at no charge. I'm sorry to be such a cynic, but I think this might have something to do with the fact that I live in a building wired for ATT's fiber optic internet connection. I got a letter from them a couple of weeks ago offering their new light speed connection: 1000 Mbps. Spectrum must be scared if they're doubling speeds for nothing. They doubled mine to 200 Mbps. Thing is, I don't need lightning speed anymore. I download zero stuff. As long as the videos play, I'm happy. But thanks, Spectrum, for your wonderful action. How about you return my speed to what it was and cut my bill in half?
